Project : 1997
Construction : 1997-2001
Floor Area : 10500 m²
The project which comprises of 34 triplex housing units designed in the form of twin houses and 5-unit clusters is realised on a 3.5 hectare lot surrounded by forest. One of the dominating design criteria has been to plan the common green area in the maximum size and most natural character possible. Therefore the main traffic road is planned at the outer edge of the site and reaches to the car parks and to the common courts of the 5 unit clusters, The “L” shaped plan of the houses wraps, a large private terrace that overlooks the vast common green area. The houses have a view of the surrounding forest from their two storey high winter-garden that is planned in the first floor sofa and the gallery of the attic. The facades of the houses are white-washed on which natural wood clad bay windows are placed. Natural materials are used in the construction. The terrace walls are clad with natural “kayrak” stone and the flooring with terra cotta. In the central part of the settlement the social facilities and swimming pool are located.
